Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam will have his hands full on May 5th when he competes in ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video against the highly decorated “Robocop” Roberto Soldic.

The contest features a classic confrontation between one of the most seasoned competitors in the division and a fresh face trying to advance in the rankings.

Zebaztian Kadestam expressed his gratitude for the amount of preparation time he had before this encounter in an interview with ONE Championship. The 32 years old fighter, explained:

“I got offered the fight a week ago, and I was really happy. It’s perfect timing. I have a lot of time to prepare. He’s a good opponent, so I’ll take him any time I can get him. I’m going to come prepared.”

Before joining ONE Championship, Croatian knockout striker Roberto Soldic held two KSW world championship titles in different divisions. The 28-year-old is a tough opponent, so Kadestam of Sweden will have to be at the top of his game. After his successful stint in KSW, where he won both titles, Roberto Soldic entered ONE Championship with a lot of anticipation. He hasn’t yet had the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities inside the ring after his promotional debut ended in a no-contest due to a groin strike.

Kadestam, a former ONE welterweight world champion, has won 85% of his fights by way of knockout, and he is now on a two-fight winning run. On his record, Soldic has the same percentage of knockouts.

Zebaztian Kadestam has been considering a possible matchup with Roberto Soldic since before the Croatian’s agreement with ONE Championship was made public.

Kadestam made it obvious that he wants to share the cage with the promotion’s high-profile acquisition after earning his sixth victory in the octagon by knocking out Iuri Lapicus in the first round at ONE on Prime Video 1.

Both Soldic and Kadestam are known for putting on entertaining fights and their next matchup at ONE Fight Night 10 is a no-brainer given their impressive knockout records.

Given the fighting philosophies of the two men, the viewers may be sure of a thrilling match. Zebaztian Kadestam is pleased to once again have the chance to put on a show on the greatest stage possible at ONE Fight Night 10, which will be the promotion’s first-ever event in the United States.

He stated in an interview for the promotion, “I’ve been on the first Prime Video show, and now I’m on the first U.S. show. I’m happy that I get the opportunity to be on the bigger cards. I think my style suits well for entertainment if they match me well, and that’s what I’m about. It’s not only about winning, it’s about putting on a good show.”

Zebaztian Kadestam believes that the contest with Roberto Soldic will have significant stakes: “The winner should fight for the title.”

On ONE Fight Night 10, Kadestam and Soldic will engage in a frightening knockout strikers’ duel. Amazon Prime Video, which is available for free to North American members, will stream the fight live and in real time.

When he takes on the respected Roberto Soldic, Zebaztian Kadestam hopes to make MMA history. Kadestam strongly declares during ONE Fight Night 10 that this is the finest fight in the welterweight category.

Speaking to ONE, he said, “This is the biggest and the best fight I could imagine. This is going to bring out the best from both of us. This is the best fight in welterweight history, for sure. This is going to be crazy, I promise you that. Man, if nobody is going to sleep in this one, I’ll be disappointed. I get chills when I think about it!”

The South China Morning Post interviewed Zebaztian Kadestam after his most recent triumph to discuss a potential fight with Soldic and to determine whether it would be a No. 1 contender’s battle. Kadestam responded that he believes that Ramazanov should already be competing for the division’s championship at this point and that he’s not sure what’s going on, but after that, the victor ought to challenge for the championship.

When he was unable to demonstrate his abilities during his initial entrance inside the circle, fans have been eagerly awaiting Soldic’s second appearance there.

The fight fans anticipated from “Robocop” after his signing was made official in August of last year will undoubtedly occur when he squares up against Kadestam in front of American supporters in Broomfield, Colorado.
